Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
As a born-again child of God, you are called to occupy and to multiply that which He has given you. This will be accomplished by you living in the Word, conforming to the Word, and proclaiming the Word. Do not draw back; go forward and occupy. You will fulfill God's mandate for your life only by submitting to Him daily. As you do, much fruit will come forth. Lives will be touched, souls will be saved, and great will be the reward for God's Word is true. Matthew 5:6 declares, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Hebrews 11:6 reads, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." In pursuing the things of God, you will not be turned away empty handed and empty hearted. Set your affection on things above. Go after souls. Do not be deterred from the call but be determined to fulfill all that He has called you to do. You, and the many lives that are eternally touched and changed, will be forever grateful.

Let the Word Burn Out the Leaven
Romans 12:2 reads, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." We desire that our lives demonstrate the touch of God. The only difference between the Word and the world is the letter "L" - for leaven. If you allow the Word to work within you, it will burn out the leaven. It will burn out the things of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Allow the things of Heaven to become more real to you than the things of this world. Seek first the Kingdom of God. Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.
