Dear Friends and Partners, I felt to continue teaching along the lines of Why Do Christians Suffer – Part Two. Considering the times that you and I are living in, this is a Biblical Study… that is much needed today in the body of Christ. In Hosea 4:6, God's Word tells us that: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… One of the truths that I wanted to share with you today is regarding the Lord's Supper. We must walk in the power of discerning the Lord's body (see 1 Corinthians 11:17-31).
Did you know that it is impossible for a racist, even if they are a self-professed Christian, to discern the Lord's body in the true Biblical context? Because the body of Christ is made up of different nationalities and colors, if someone is a racist, they are NOT discerning the Lord's body. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are:
"Many sleep" refers to dying prematurely! To discern the Lord's body, we must love our brother…Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (Matthew 22:36). Suffering that is NOT God's plan for you is sickness, disease, poverty, lack, torment, misery, fear, curses, etc. The persecution that we are to bear is for the preaching of the Gospel and God will grace you to handle it. Second Timothy 3:12 states: "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." My hope is that you:
