Over my time here at The River and my time in RBI, I have learned the importance of plugging into helps. It actually is a ministry waiting for us to claim. I have spent much time in the children's church and had the privilege of learning how to minister with these awesome kids. One incident in particular was during a rather long PM service that the fire of God fell on the children. I was going around praying for the kids, some were laughing, some crying, some calling out to God.  I had a little girl, a 1st time visitor, come up for prayer. She was a bit freaked out, but she wanted Jesus. I told her that Jesus was going to love on her; it wasn't me. I gently laid my hands on her and as I did her body started to vibrate and she fell on the floor (an usher laid her down, actually). Her eyes were big and she looked at me for an explanation. I asked her if it hurt and she said, “No.” Then I said, "Jesus is loving on you. Do you feel Him?" and she said, “Yes” and told me it felt good. Soon following, she began to bust out in laughter and quickly covered her mouth thinking she was in trouble, but I told her to let it bubble out. She was overwhelmed with joy. I laid my hands on her again and began praying in tongues and the next thing I knew she was praying in tongues as well. It was so awesome. Her parents had to carry her out. Her life was totally touched.
