Serving in the ministry of helps at The River has been a tremendous blessing. I was assigned to helping in the nursery on Tuesday nights. At first, I was pretty clueless and didn't even really know how to just react with the kids, but after a while I learned so much! I learned how to flow with watching the kids and meeting their needs and even just having fun with them. The funny thing is that before helping in the nursery I didn't even want kids at all in the future :-) , but God has given me a love for children and it has been such an awesome experience. Also, where in the beginning, I kind of disliked and begrudged missing the service, God helped me to even look forward to helping out in the nursery and I realized that you don't just have to be in the service to get touched or to be in His presence and learn from Him and learn to flow in the anointing. My experience with helping serve in the ministry of helps at The River has been awesome!
